Samuel Bazile was born in Pineville, Louisiana on October 28, 1949. Sam was Baptized at an early age at Little Rock Baptist church by Rev W.A. White. Sam was preceded in death by his parents: Dezria and Roberta Bazile; sister, Evelyn Rose Alfred and his brother, Robert Bazile.
Sam graduated from Carver High School Class of 1967. Sam proudly served in the United States Army. During the Vietnam war, Sam work as a parachute packer and was honorably discharged after 2 years of service. Sam was later employed by and retired from the Mopact Pacific Railroad (formerly known as Union Pacific Railroad0. Anyone who knew Sam was a kind and quiet man but always showed he cared in his own way.
Sam leaves to cherish his precious memories : His wife of 32 years Joan Bazile; two daughters: Latajua Bazile of Baton Rouge and Tylynn (Gerald) Tillman of Lafayette, La; two sons: Trevis Bazile of Garland, Tx and James (Yvonne) Shanks of Lafayette, La; three sisters, Dorothy (Carl) Hall of Bunkie, La, Gertrude Walls of Baton Rouge, La; Lucinda Brumfield of Garland, Tx, and Diane Bazile of Bunkie, La; two brothers, Dezria of Bunkie, La, and george (Debra) Bazile of Lecompte, La; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one god child, Artique Wiley of Dallas, Tx; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
