Shanta was a very dedicated mother who loved her kids and grandbaby dearly. Shanta loved her family and friends dearly and she was loved by many.

Shanta was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Lacour; one sister, Regan Johnson; grandmother, Ruth Lavalais Johnson; grandfather, Junior Johnson; three aunts, Debra Johnson, Diane Johnson Day, and Margie Sue Johnson Moran, and one uncle, Steve Johnson.

Shanta leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Litraiona Johnson; one son, Wilbert Robert Rogers III; mother, Ellen Johnson; two brothers, Julius Johnson and Jarvis Johnson; one grandchild and a host of family and friends.
