Lee Marion Jimmerson, Sr. was born on June 28, 1953 to the late Mary and Lance Jimmerson, Sr. He gave his life to Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was a member of the Spring Bluff Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and member of the male chorus. On July 2, 1984, he was united in holy matrimony to Cherry Anne Jimmerson, and to this union three sons were born. Lee Marion was a staple in the community. He will always be remembered for his love for playing the saxophone, his carpentry skills, and keeping smiles on the faces of his loved ones. He departed this earth for his heavenly home on July 17, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 41 years, Cherry Jimmerson; three sons, Lee Jimmerson, Jr. of Palmetto LA, Justin Jimmerson of Morrow, LA, and Brittany Chambers of LeBeau, LA; seven grandchildren, Sa’renty, Jaitravia, Krystal, Stephon, Ebonie, Brittany, Justin, Jr.; one brother, Lance Jimmerson, II; three sisters, Linda Edwards of Morrow, LA, Rosetta Jimmerson of Houston, TX, and Mary Lorene Jimmerson of Port Arthur, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. Awaiting his arrival, he will be greeted by his son, Levar Jimmerson; his parents, Lance and Mary Jimmerson, Sr.; his brother, Neil Jimmerson, and his sister, Jane Dale.
