Joseph Glenn McGee was born March 5, 1962 in Pineville, LA. He was the youngest son of the eight siblings the late Anthony Gerard McGee, and Mary Rose McGee(mama). Glenn as he was known by family and friends grew up in Marksville, LA where he attended Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Joseph played a significant role in his family’s life and left and indelible mark on their hearts.
Joseph was baptized at early age, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
He was also a loving husband father and grandfather. He was very dedicated to his wife, children, grandchildren, Mother and Siblings.
Joseph attend Marksville High School Graduated, & worked years building on the lock and dam on the red river, Seismic Graph in the oil field for Halliburton Offshore Company. He furthered his career and became a Conductor for Union Pacific RailRoad in 1994 then years later he went to engineering school in Omaha, Nebraska to become a Locomotive Engineer for Union Pacific Railroad in Avondale, LA. He also was locomotive engineer for Amtrak when needed from time to time.
He also leaves behind a legacy of love and beautiful memories. He survived by his devoted wife Dianna Ford McGee ; his 2 daughters Crystal Michelle McGee, Amethyst Faith McGee (adopted) and son Durwell Fabian McGee (Sheila) Seven grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his by father Anthony McGee, Mother Mary Rose Mary McGee; three siblings Jacquline Frank, Marie Linda Sampson and Jame Elvis McGee.
