Jeffery Christmas

Jeffery Christmas was born on April 11,1965 to the late Edward Totsy Christmas Sr. and Maggie Simmons Christmas. 

Jeffery was born and raised in Bunkie, La. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Johnson at 2nd St. Paul Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death. On November 24,2007 Jeffery married the love of his life Melissa and together they created beautiful memories for 15 years with their 5 children. 

Jeffery attended Bunkie High School and later worked at Westside Habilitation Center until he became disabled. Anyone who knew Jeffery knows he loved to eat. Jeffery had a passion for family and friends. He never knew a stranger. Anybody that needed him he was readily available to help. Jeffery overcame everything with his strong faith in Jesus Christ and helped to bring many others to cleansing. He ensured that each person had the items they needed to be successful with their journey. At his best, he was the most unselfish person around.
Jeffery loved sharing with family and friends, and spent endless hours talking about the lord with them. He also loved to shop and picked at family members about being the first one to get something new. Jeffery will be greatly and sadly missed by so many, but will always be in our hearts.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his parents Edward Sr. and Maggie, his three brothers Edward Christmas Jr., Johnny Ray Christmas, and Terrell Vernard Christmas, and his son Jeffery Devon Bell.
Those left to cherish his memory are two brothers, Samuel James Christmas Sr. and Jimmy Christmas(Iesha) of Houston, Texas. Four sisters; Merrie Jenkins, Louella Christmas, Christina Christmas and Debra Christmas all of Bunkie, La. Sister-in-laws Patricia Ballard(Elvis), Lorraine Keller, Belinda Ballard(Rodney). Brother-In-Laws Milton Bradford(Georgia), Jimmie Bradford (Georgia Ann), Arthur Ray Keller, John Bradford(Daneille).Two daughters Breauna J. Bell, of Bunkie, La, Joyce Johnson (Tyler) of Houston, TX. Two sons, Calvin Keller(Kashawnda) and Reginald Reed . Two grand children, Kaleigh Keller and Reshaud Keller. He loved those grandkids so much! 
He also leaves to cherish his memories two special nieces Prytania Christmas, Lusheka Christmas-White(Greg) of Fort Worth, Texas and a very special nephew LaTrakeus Christmas (Miluska) of Orlando, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and two  godchildren Felicity Bradford and Denyria Dixon.
