HARRY "JUNE" CHRISTIAN

Harry Christian, Jr. was born in Pineville, LA on June 28, 1954. Harry was baptized at an early age at First Union Baptist Church by Rev. C. J. Jones. Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura of 41 years, his loving parents, Harry and Alberta Christian and his sister, Debra Christian Lavalais.
    Harry graduated from Bunkie High School, class of 1974. Harry joined the Air Force right after graduation and was assigned to Lowry Air Force Base, Colorado as a flight refueling specialist. Harry was honorably discharged after four years of service. Then later he was employed by Angola State Prison for fifteen years, the Avoyelles Parish School Board for 10 years, then later retired in early 2000.
    Harry married Laura St. Romain on May 10, 1980. To this union, two kids were born.
    Harry leaves to cherish his precious memories, one daughter, Phalonda Christian of Bunkie, LA; one son, Harry Trey Christian (Myesha) of Bunkie, LA; four grandkids, Royon, Justin, Jr., Brystin and Xaiden; one brother, Ronnie Christian (Rita) of Bunkie, LA; two sisters, Laura Christian Francisco of Bunkie, LA and Rita Christian Jackson (Garron) of Bunkie, LA; three sisters-in law, Joann (Sam) of Carencro, LA, Elaine (Albert) of Eola, LA and Lorraine (Woodrow) of Bunkie, LA; four brothers-in-law, Charles (Pat) of Youngsville, LA, Ricky (Donna) of Alexandria, LA, Harold (Rita) of Bunkie, LA and Kenny (Quanda) of Houston, TX; one aunt, Vallie Griffin of Alexandria, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and two special friends, Willie Howard and David Voohries.
