Obituary

Edward was born to the late Valley and Maude Johnson on March 6,1937 in Marksville Louisiana.

Edward was blessed with a large and loving family. He married Margaret Dobbins raised 8 children. Edward was loved by many and devoted to his community. He was devoted and dedicated to every job he held. 
Edward loved the lord and was catholic, He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church of Marksville Louisiana.

Edward had a heart of gold that would brighten up the smallest room. A smile that was so contagious. He was kind and softly spoken, and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. He was a music lover and knew all the greatest hits. When talking with him he always gave you great wisdom and had a story to tell. 
He will be dearly missed by his loved ones. Edward is survived by his wife, Margret; his sons Edward Johnson (Patricia), Jeffery Johnson (MiMi), Sterling Johnson (Wanda), John Johnson (Vickie) and his daughters Pamela Jones (Tommie), Linda Johnson, Charlotte Johnson, Deidra Johnson; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. With a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Valley and Maude and brother Wilbert Johnson.
