Funeral services for Brother Earnest Garrison Jr. will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at St. Edwards Funeral Home 808 NW Main Street Bunkie Louisiana Pastor Donald Tibbs officiating. Visitation will be observed from 12:00 noon until time of service. Home Going Celebration will start at 2pm.  Burial will follow in the St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery Hwy 71 Lemoyen Louisiana.  

 Brother Earnest Garrison was called home by the sweet sound of angels on August 23, 2021. Brother Earnest, was 70 years of age at the time of his transition to his heavenly home. He passed away peacefully at Ville Platte Medical Center.

Brother Earnest Garrison Jr. Was born to the late Hazel Gallow Garrison & Earnest Garrison Sr, On June 29, 1951.

Earnest Garrison Jr accepted Christ at an early age. Earnest was full of love. His spirit brought a presence of joy and happiness when he entered a room. He was the light of the room. Earnest enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Earnest loved family and friends dearly. He never met a stranger and his smile was contagious. He adored his children and grandchildren. He loved taking rides and being outdoors. Earnest cherished his Bible and read it daily. He had a gift of spreading love, respect and kindness. Anyone who knew Earnest knew exactly how pure his heart was.

Brother Earnest Was preceded in death by his parents Hazel Gallow Garrison and Earnest Garrison Senior and one sister Margret Garrison.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter Darlene Jackson of Ville Platte Louisiana. Two sons Reginald Jackson (Keisha) of Carencro Louisiana and Kevin Jackson (Lisa) of Bunkie Louisiana. One Sister Hazel Garrison of Ville Platte a Louisiana and one brother Floyd Garrison of Ville Platte, and a  host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
