“His Gift of Life”
David Lee Malveaux was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Max Malveaux and Bertha Anderson on June 8, 1973. He departed this life on June 12, 2023 at his home in Bunkie, LA.
David Lee, as he was known to many, was baptized at an early age by Pastor Castle at Sunrise Baptist Church in Gretna, LA. He has since become an honorary member at Ministry Unlimited in Alexandria, LA under the leadership of Pastor Tyrone Malveaux.
David Lee loved spending time with his family andloved ones; especially his grand-daughter, Paislee. His daughter could always call on him to babysit. He was very much a family man who have always had a passion for working with his family. He was the life of any party and the family knows it. He has really kept things alive after the passing of his brother, “Amp.” He was a caring person who would give you the clothes off his back. He was loved by many and he knew that.
David Lee leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Bertha (Robert) Anderson of Bunkie, LA; his daughters, Jala Hayes of Baton Rouge, LA, Aaliyah Malveaux of Chicago, IL; two (1) extended daughter: D’Andrea Friels of Bunkie, LA; a grand-daughter, Paislee Hayes of Baton Rouge, LA; one (1) god-son: Jatravian Mayo of Opelousas, LA; two (2) sisters: Belinda Young of Dallas, TX and Cynthia (Lester) Young – Franks of Ville Platte, LA; (1) god-sister: Chessie Ann Malveaux of Morrow, LA; (4) brothers: Le’Fenus Powers (Michelle) Malveaux of Philadelphia, PA, Tyrone (Tonya) Malveaux of Pineville, LA, Kendrick James of Baton Rouge, LA, Clarence FrazierJr of Alexandria, LA; (6) aunts: Lavonia Clayton-Kimani, Velma (Wayne) Malveaux, and Atline(Ronald) Malveaux – Young, all of Houston, TX, Edna Malveaux of San Jose, CA, Landy Malveaux of Port Arthur, TX, and Karrie (L.V.) Malveaux – Wright of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Malveaux, and three (3) brothers: Cedric Frazier ,Ralph Young, and David Tyrone Compton.
