Carlos Undra “Pap” Hardison
Carlos Undra “Pap” Hardison, the tenth of twelve children, was born to Cecile Below Hardison and Lloyd Hardison, Sr., March 16, 1960. He departed this life on August 6, 2021 at 6:00PM. Carlos confessed Christ, was baptized at an early age, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Amulet Street. He attended Natchitoches Central High School then later joined the Army National Guard and served 16 years. He also attended the Natchitoches Vocational Technical Center and earned multiple certifications. Carlos worked as a certified electrical maintenance technician at Pilgrim’s Pride for over 26 years. Motivated to make money, he started at Abdon Callais Offshore where he was employed for 10 years. Carlos was a stubborn person. When all was said and done, you would never say you left his presence with any doubt as to where he stood on any issue or cause. He leaves to rejoice in his memory and thank God for his time here with his brothers and sisters: Floyd Hardison, Vernon “Black” Hardison, Herbert Hardison, Ronald Lyn Hardison, Annie Marie Hardison, Merdis Hardison, Ronnie Hardison and Terry Hardison. Surviving children, whose mother is Carolyn Burton, are: Kamiya LaTease Burton, Cartrell “Pig” Llwelyn-Lavance Burton, Crystal “Nooney” Michelle Burton, and Consuella “Pooh Bear” Marie Burton. Surviving children, whose mother is Tangela Randolph, are: DaCarlos Undra Randolph and Bre’lyn Jonta Randolph; 16 grandchildren, one uncle, Robert Charles Hardison and wife, Minnie; one aunt, Celestine “Nucy” Hardison, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Carlos Undra “Pap” Hardison was preceded in death by his mother, Cecile Below Hardison and father, Lloyd Hardison, Sr.; one sister, Gwendolyn Faye Hardison; three brothers: Charles Ray “Red” Hardison, James Edward “Jack the Bear” Hardison, and Lloyd Hardison, Jr.; his daughter, Kandra “Roo” Randolph; a grand-daughter; Serenity Randolph, and two grandsons; Christian Burton and Cash Burton.
