Bert Benjamin

Bert Benjamin was born in Houston,Texas to the late Paul Shelton Benjamin and the late Ora Lean Jenkins on November 25, 1972. He departed his life on November 8, 2022 at his home in Cottonport, Louisiana. 

Bert Benjamin loved to have fun and spend time with family and friends. Bert loved to cook and sports was a hobby of his. Due to his exponential love and gratitude, words will always be unmatched.  Memories of his will always be cherished and will live on. 

He leaves to cherish her memories: four children; Shaun Smith of Bunkie, LA, Jasmine Smith of Waukegan, IL, Bert Benjamin and Paul Benjamin both of Hiram, Georgia. 
His siblings on his mothers side; Three brothers, Ike Jenkins III (Renee) of Hammond, LA. Paul Jenkins of Houston, TX, Joe Jenkins (Cha’Leatha) of Cottonport, LA. Four sisters; Pamela Jenkins(Andre) and Sandra Augustine (Alvin) both of Hessmer, LA. Thelma Prater (Damien) and Pauline Dobinson (Lester) both of Cottonport, LA. 
His siblings on father side; Andrea Young (Tony Wells) of Cottonport, LA, Johnny Young (Kathy) of Cottonport, LA, Dwayne Loftan(Rosetta) of Moreauville, LA, Deshawn Benjamin(Syliva) of Houston, TX, and Dion Benjamin of Mansura, LA, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
