For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God. —JOB 19:25-26.
"Benjamin Callihan Jr., of Palmetto, LA. Also known as "Uncle Bubba" passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 75. Even though a failing heart took him away, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all. We will forever remember his warm smile and his shyness as he would rub his head when he was engaged in conversation. He loved his parents and siblings dearly growing up. Benjamin worked hard until he encountered a life-changing event and was no longer able to work. He enjoyed helping around the house. He also enjoyed watching Tv with his family but most of all he enjoyed taking walks and sitting outside.
Benjamin is survived by his brother, Clarence Callihan (Mary Jane), one sister, Verdie L. Hudson (Vernon) both of Port Arthur Texas. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews. Benjamin was man that never offered many words, but he had a bright smile when embraced by his loved ones. Benjamin will be missed by his family.
