Annie's Life & Legacy
A beautiful daughter was born on August 2, 1952, in Pineville, LA.
She was the only girl of four siblings to the late Mr. Willie and Mrs.
Charity Mae B. Forbish. Annie Lee grew up in Cheneyville, LA, where she was baptized at St. Samuel Baptist Church in Cheneyville, LA. She later became a devoted member of Booneville Memorial United Methodist Church, faithfully serving under the leadership of Rev. James E. Ray, Sr., until her health declined.
Annie Lee was educated at Lincoln Williams School in Cheneyville, LA. She later worked faithfully for the Broussard family for many years and devoted more than a decade of service to Westside Rehabilitation Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Charity Mae B.
Forbish; her brother, Edward Blue, Sr.; her niece, Rhonda Washington; and her nephew, Michael McGhee.
Annie Lee departed this life on the morning of November 30, 2025, in Bunkie, LA. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her dear friend, Donald R. Jones; her children, Anthony Keys, Shekita Blue, Donald Blue (Debra), Sheila McGee (Durwell), and Jermaine Blue (Sherterro ca); stepdaughter, Thesia Deal; stepson, Tycious Brown; brothers, Jimmie Lee Blue (Ruth Ann) and Willie Blue (Cindy); sister-in-law, Audrey Blue; godsons, Marlin Jones and Jarvis Mitchell; goddaughter, Tineshia Blue; special friends, Audrey Blue and Katie Hayes; 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
