Alice Lee Lofton-Hill was born on October 01,1938 to the late Peter and Alice Lofton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Hill, Jr., father Peter Lofton, Sr., mother, Alice Briggs Lofton, 10 siblings; daughters, Murrell Lynn Lofton and Keenia Hill-Johnson (Kenneth) and granddaughter, Alexi Hollis. She leaves to mourn her sons Kevin Hill, Michael Hill, Monroe Hill, III (Jennifer); daughters, Janob Johnson and Sheryl Hill; a great host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. As a young woman, she moved from New Iberia La. to Central La. where she met her husband of 44 years, Monroe Hill, Jr. while he was serving in the United States Air Force-England Air Force Base (Alexandria, La). They settled in Avoyelles Parish and had 7 children and a community of friends. She worked in the nursing and criminal justice industry until retirement. She always loved sewing, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was baptized at an early age and was a lifelong member and former secretary of St. James Baptist Church in Moreauville, La..
